Spring Basket Fundraiser: Students received two books of ten tickets to sell for the PAMS Spring Basket. All proceeds will go towards purchasing outdoor recreation equipment, including a GaGa pit. Tickets are $2 each. Money and ticket stubs can be returned any time before April 29th. The draw date is April 30th.

Gym Class: Students must have clean indoor sneakers to participate in gym class. Our gym floor is being refinished on May 2nd; beginning May 5th, no outdoor shoes will be permitted in the gym at any time.  If you have sneakers at home that you can donate to the school, please drop them off at the office.  These will be added to the “sneaker box” that students borrow from when they forget their gym shoes.

Arrive on Time: Classes begin at 8:45 AM. It is important for students to arrive on time, so they don’t miss important announcements and instruction.

History of Métis: On Wednesday, there will be a virtual RCMP heritage presentation covering the rich history of Métis Peoples, their impact by Western expansion, and how they share their cultural histories and values through art. For more information on the RCMP Heritage Programs, please visit RCMP Heritage Centre.

PAMS recycling:  Two new recycling initiatives were announced to students this morning in addition to our bottle/drink box recycling program.  Beginning today, students are encouraged to add to the paper recycling box in each class and donate any unopened snacks (in the original package) to the snack recycle box in the cafeteria.
