School dance: Thursday, May 24th from 6-7:30pm will be the last dance for this school year. The theme is summer/beach and there will be special games, treats, and prizes. Students must have no more than two unexcused absences and be present in class all other days (no in or out of school suspensions) for the month of May to attend. The cost is $5 and there are no guests.
Grade 8 Go Boys: The Active Communities Branch of Department of Tourism, Heritage & Culture; the Western Valley Recreation Association; and the Department of Education have planned a series of “Go Boys Sports events” to expose Grade 8 male students to recreational, nutrition and mental fitness activities available to them within their home regions. This event will be on Wednesday, May 22nd at the Plaster Rock sportsplex. The students will be travelling by bus leaving at 8:30am and returning before the end of the day. Students must bring a bag lunch, water bottle, and wear gym clothing.
