This is our final weekly email for the 2025–2026 school year. School updates will be shared during the week of August 31st, when teachers will be contacting families of students in their homeroom classes. School will begin on Tuesday, September 8 for Grade 6 students only. All students will attend starting Wednesday, September 9.
This year, our school was involved in several important initiatives, including participation in EECD long-term recommendation strategies which focused on improving conditions for success in middle school, as well as promoting movement and well-being. As a result, PAMS has initiated an outdoor learning trail and increased its focus on developing skills for successful collaboration across the school.
We are also proud to share that we achieved our school improvement goal of enhancing behavioural engagement by fostering a student-centered learning environment, with an emphasis on student voice, choice, and relevance.
Student success is a shared effort between school, families, and community; thank you for being part of that partnership.

Lunch: school BBQ – free for students
- 11:15 am “2026 Celebration” (principal’s list, PAMS PBIS awards, gr. 8 certificates)
- 12:15 BBQ students and guests
- Afternoon: Grade 8 dance and celebration
Friday – June 19th, Day 2
• Breakfast: Smoothies and bagels
• Lunch: hot dogs BBQ – free for students
Report cards can be picked up after 12noon on Friday and between 8:15 – 4pm from Monday, June 21st to Wednesday, June 23rd. PAMS is closed from June 24th to August 30th.
