Academics Continue:
As we approach the final weeks of school, please note that students will continue to participate in academic activities until the last day.
Monday
Grade 7 Field Trip
Permission slips for the Grade 7 year-end field trip to Camp Shiktehawk on June 17th will be sent home on Monday. Please sign and return them as soon as possible.
Note: Students must be in good academic standing with no outstanding work to participate.
Grade 6 Field Trip
Grade 6 students heading to Camp Shiktehawk tomorrow, please remember to bring:
- Lunch, snack, and a water bottle
- Money for the Tuck Shop (canteen treats)
- Swimwear, towel, and a plastic bag for wet gear
- Sunscreen, bug spray, hat, and optional water shoes
- Sneakers (VERY IMPORTANT)
Wednesday
Club Day
This week’s Club Day will take place during Period 4. Activities include volleyball, soccer, culture, art, and games. These activities help students practice our BEARS Code:
Belonging, Empathy, Achievement, Respect, and Safety.
Wabanaki Wednesday
Students and staff are encouraged to wear orange or clothing that represents Wabanaki culture every Wednesday.
Thursday
Olympics Day
Over the past two weeks, homeroom classes have been preparing for an Olympic-style challenge. Students collaborated to choose a team name, color, and design a flag.
The big event will take place on Thursday (rain date: Monday).

Friday
Grade 8 Field Trip
The Grade 8 field trip to Woodstock is scheduled for Friday. Permission slips with details will be sent home on Tuesday.
Mr. Freezies
Mr. Freezies will be sold on warm days for $2. All proceeds will go toward building a Ga-Ga pit for outdoor play.
