PAMS news – week of May 20th
Assessment schedule – Provincial Assessments continue this week with grade 6 students writing the scientific literacy assessment on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. It is important that students arrive at school on time. Please review the attached information form. Grade 6 Provincial assessment information
Wabanaki Wednesday:
Students and staff are invited to wear orange or clothing that represents Wabanaki culture each Wednesday.
Active Boys:
On Wednesday, grade 8 boys will be going to the River Valley Civic Centre in Perth-Andover to participate in the annual Active Boys event. This is a Multi-Sport Festival designed to expose grade 8 boys to sports, recreational, and cultural activities available to them in our region. Permission slips went home on Friday. Students will be walking to and from the event. A water bottle, bagged lunch, and sneakers are required.
French Friday:
Friday morning will feature a Team’s meeting to celebrate the French theme for the month of May – “Going to the movies”. There will be a French activity Friday afternoon to reinforce the learning that has been taking place during the week.
