• A new class schedule began this week at PAMS.  This schedule can be found in the email from your child’s homeroom teacher.
  • February is Black History Month, and students will be learning about the contributions of Black people in Canada across various classes.
  • Each week, PAMS celebrates Wabanaki culture on Wednesdays. Students are encouraged to wear orange or items that represent Indigenous culture.
  • In math classes, PAMS is rolling out a math fact fluency program. This program is designed to meet the specific needs of students, reinforcing fluency in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division through ten minutes of games each class. Additionally, some students will participate in 15-minute pull-out groups for extra support throughout February.
  • This Friday is themed a “Day in Yellow.” Students and staff are invited to wear yellow to raise awareness for mental health support and suicide prevention.
  • On Friday, Grade 8 students will attend the SVHS Girls’ Hockey Valhalla game at 1:15 p.m. Students will travel by bus from PAMS to SVHS and then catch their bus home from AES. Parent pick-up will be at the Civic Centre at 3:00 p.m. This is a transition to high school activity.

Have a great week everyone.
